French Community on Dystopia!

Like every time I start a topic or a reply, I apologize for writing in a so poor English...

Like all of you on this forum, I love Dystopia... but I don't speak and understand English very well.

Many French players I meet, have this issue on Dystopia. They don't want to learn how to play alone without French player for guide them. There isn't any French community for newbies to learn even the base and meet player more experimented.

From there, it's come this idea to try what Insurgency succeed, create a website for French Community. The homepage is created with Drupal. It's the beginning so I just write a presentation, 2/3 news and 3/4 pages link to website. I put a FiresoftBoard2 with some category and boards.

I'm a "beginner" in website, but I want to do something sober and respectful for the Official Website (hear ). No pub, and a space for redirect visitor on the Official Website.

Few question,
Can I use pics from the Media Kit Section for the website? Like police, logo....
Can I quote your news and "translate" some part of the content?

Comme vous le voyez mon anglais est pitoyable. J'aimerai tout simplement mettre en place un lieu ou les amateurs de Dystopia et de cyberpunk puisse se rencontrer et jouer ensemble.
Je sais qu'il y a "pas mal" de français dessus et encore plus serait intéressé par ce mod s'ils avaient la possibilité de jouer avec d'autre français.

rx are always rembered by the old players, i think some of them tried to speak english but if they couldnt who can blame them i know alot of players speak a few languages and i respect them for that, i mean i cant speak french or finnish or anything so why should i exepct them to speak english.

Pour ce qui est de la communauté française, l'anglais est clairement la langue à maîtriser pour pouvoir discuter sur les serveurs, même quand ceux-ci sont estampillés [Fr], mais pour les allergiques c'est clair qu'un peu d'aide ne fait jamais de mal.

Il me semble que - peut-être est-ce toi - quelqu''un (vu sur NoFrag il me semble) avait rédigé un gros .pdf qui traduisait le guide du débutant, toujours intéressant à linker ou à avoir.

Because English has become somewhat of an Lingua Franca. Sure, I don't expect anyone to learn finnish in order to communicate with me, that would be just absurd. We use English because most people are somewhat adequate in said language.

A new version of Holomorphe get out yesterday.
There is a lot of new feature. All the site and forum is manage by the CMS Drupal. It's improved interactivity between Users and site. There is still some content to update but it's always finish.
I'm opologized for not being fluent in english.

Holomorphe- le site de la communauté Francophone de Dystopia fait peau neuve.

Le CMS Drupal gère maintenant l'intégralité du site, des news jusqu'aux forums. L'interaction entre les utilisateurs et le site va donc pouvoir se faire. La ligne éditoriale reste la même et se concentre sur le jeu en lui même. Les œuvres cyberpunk auront également toutes leurs place sur le site. Les premiers articles ont d'ailleurs déjà eu droit à leur revue.

Grâce à un travail de traduction de l'actuel wiki par Cook et à la communication sur les forums, nulle doute que la communauté à de quoi s'épanouir et répondre aux questions des différents joueurs désireux d'apprendre à apprécier DYSTOPIA à son juste titre.

Des parties d'initiation seront rapidement mise en place dès que le nombre de membre sera suffisant. Un groupe Steam publique a été créer pour l'occasion.
N'hésitez pas à vous inscrire sur le site pour participer activement au développement de la communauté.
