Reviews, Awards and Coverage

The Dystopia demo release didn't pass by with out notice. Along with a huge amount of positive responses from individual gamers, we've recieved some excellent coverage from a few great websites.

Segaming.co.uk has reviewed the Dystopia demo, awarding it a score of 95%

In conclusion this is a very good game that involves some very innovative ideas of the source engine, I for one will look forward to future releases of this game.

PlanetHalflife named Dystopia as it's Mod of the Week, delivering an excellent overview of the game:

I've only been able to scratch the surface of how wonderfully complex Dystopia is. Do yourself a favor and check out the new player guide on the site before and after you've played your first match.

Lastly, ModDB has selected Dystopia it's Mod of the Month, highlighting our baby with a well rounded article.

Dystopia opens up a huge range of possibilities for those who join into it. But what makes this all work is the environments, which are open enough and full of enough little tricks and traps for each character-type to find a way to use things to their advantage. Hackers who prefer to work alone can duck into side hallways and work their magic, reversing turrets on people and opening up locked environments, while the snipers may stick to the rooftops and just prevent anyone from accessing the building with multiple headshots.

Wow...ModDB had a very flattering review of Dystopia, but that's still retarded that they cite the elevator-stuttering bug as though it was a Dystopia bug and not an engine/netcode bug.

Computer Gaming World (Dec 2005) has Dystopia review and has it on the CD/DVD. Got 3 out of 5 stars. GG guys! Not bad for a Beta with one map!
