Team Dystopia is proud to announce that the intial demo version of Dystopia has been released! After 9 long months of heavy development and another year of planning and designing before that, it has been a long and challenging road to this point. We're extremely excited to let the public see what we've been so busy working on all this time and hope that you enjoy it as much as we do. This demo version is limited to only 1 map; Vaccine, but features all of our high powered weapons and extensive range of implants.

We have created a new player guide which everyone should check out. Our goal for Dystopia was to create a game where people could get in and have fun even with out knowing exactly everything that was going on. Dystopia is a very deep game and we hope that everyone keeps trying out different load outs, tactics and team play strategies.

We are in desperate need of more servers. As we hoped and expected, Dystopia is being downloaded by a horde of gamers looking for a fresh and exciting new game to play. All we need now is enough servers to accommodate them all. If you've got a server running a HL2MP, CSS or other SourceMod that isn't seeing a lot of action; please download the server package and run up a server:

dystopia_demo_server.tar.gz - from HalfLife 2 Files / FileFront
dystopia_demo_server.tar.gz - from FileShack
dystopia_demo_server.tar.gz - from filespace.ru
dystopia_demo_server.tar.gz - from filecloud.com

Fuzzy has also whipped up a quick guide for server admins, hopefully this will help us get more servers up and running.

On behalf of all of Team Dystopia I just want to say thank you to everyone who's downloaded and played the demo so far. The response has truely blown us away. It's amazingly rewarding to see servers filling up minutes after they're brought online. We hope that everyone enjoys the demo, and when the traffic dies down and we can bring back the forums we want to get feedback from anyone willing to give it.
