Received donations are used to keep our services running optimally and with little or no downtime. Without the help from our fan base, we would not be able to provide an informative website and help nurture our community! What we pay for:
- The server that hosts the primary website, forums, and the game statistics system server which communicates with the all hosted Dystopia servers. This server also hosts the Dystopia Quality Control testing dedicated server used for Quality Assurance and defect identification.
- Bandwidth costs to allow large amounts of visitors every month.
- Domain registry.
- Business and legal work required to protect our game
Benefits
In return for a one-time US $10 supporters payment, you will receive:
- Access to the private Supporter-only builds made available, which usually occur before large releases. These builds may not occur for every release, but they will happen!
- A supporters icon next to your name in game (for v1.0 or later only) and on your Stats profile.
- A special supporter band on the Dystopia forums.
- Access to the private Supporters section of the forum, where you will access pre-release information and work in progress updates.
- Access to the private Supporters only IRC channel, where Supporters gather and can interact.
- Special features on our Stats system like extra graphs and heatmaps.
Donating
Please ensure that you have a working email address and your Steam ID correctly entered in your forum profile!
Information to get access to release candidates available for Supporters only will be made available to you in the forums. Your STEAMID needs to be correct to allow you to join the test servers when Supporter-only testing occurs. Supporter-only testing typically only occurs months before a large release.
NOTE: Granting your supporter status is an automatic process. In 48 hours, the system will give you an in-game icon and access to the supporter forums. To get your supporter badge to show up in the forums, please follow the instructions in the corresponding thread in the supporter forums. In the unlikely event that a problem occurs and your status hasn't been upgraded after 48 hours, send a Private Message via the forum to cornix.
Please be aware that we only accept donations through PayPal and it's accredited methods. Direct Credit Card or Bank Transfers are not permitted.
