All players in Dystopia must choose from one of four unique primary weapons created for each class, and also receive a melee weapon, grenades, and the Machine Pistol. New primary weapons may be equipped every spawn cycle by using the weapons tab of the spawn menu.

Ammunition

Each weapon has its own ammo count. Ammo and grenades are resupplied by dying and spawning, but players can receive additional ammo for their primary weapon and the Machine Pistol at an ammo dispenser. Ammo can not be collected from the weapon of a fallen soldier, and grenades are only resupplied upon respawning. The ammo a player has for a drawn weapon is displayed by the ammo counter, located in the bottom right corner of the HUD. Melee weapons don't use ammo.

Slots

All carried weapons occupy a "slot". There are four slots:

  • Slot 1- Melee Weapon
  • Slot 2- Sidearm (always the Machine Pistol)
  • Slot 3- Primary Weapon
  • Slot 4- Grenades

To draw a desired weapon, simply press the hotkey associated with the slot it resides in (by default, these are the number 1-4 keys on the keyboard). The mouse wheel can also be used to scroll through slots.
